"Confronto Entre Mônaco e Barcelona"
Speaking after the match against Barcelona, AS Monaco manager Adi Hutter expressed his immense satisfaction in the press room.
He conveyed his happiness and pride following the victory, especially as several players were making their Champions League debuts and it was also his first match in charge. Hutter emphasised that while it was a special moment, the focus was on the win itself.
Hutter acknowledged the advantage of playing with an extra player for a significant portion of the game, due to Eric Garcia’s early red card. He pointed out that having this numerical superiority certainly helped, but he felt their strong start in the game was crucial.
“Eric Garcia being sent off quickly was an advantage, it helps a lot to be one more player but we had already started very well, we were back in the game straight away,” said the Monaco manager as reported by Mundo Deportivo.
Hutter is happy and proud
He highlighted the importance of securing a win against Barcelona, stating that such a victory brings great joy and pride to the team. He praised his players for showing courage and creating numerous scoring opportunities throughout the match.
